It’s officially fall ! That means a shift in our wardrobe color palettes and more layers for the cooler crisp air and crunchy leaves. I have a love hate relationship with fall, as with all seasons, but when it comes to fall fashion, who doesn’t love it? Before the temperature took a dip and the official fall date was approaching, I already started filling my room with shopping bags stuffed with warm colored and thick fall clothing. My eyes and my hands have been wandering towards the fall colors like oranges and greens and to the hats and scarves.
For this outfit I picked out one of my favorite fall colors Olive/Army Green. In the UK they would call this color Khaki. (In the states Khaki is like a beige color.) This color is ideal all year round but in the fall it definitely stands out more against everything else that is either really warm (color wise) or really cool. The green stands out in the middle and can be paired in anyway. You can add some army green to your fall wardrobe by grabbing a parka, a cargo jacket, a pair of army green pants and even a blazer. The options are endless and can be incorporated in any look.
Almost this whole outfit is unintentionally from Zara. I combined my army green skirt, which is a recent purchase with steel toned gray fringed crop top to bring some character. To seal the deal I also added a “neutral” shoe which are my cheetah pumps, also from Zara to mix it up a little more. I am not sure how I came up with this outfit but my creative juices definitely have the credit for this one. To tie the whole look together my adorable little bucket bag that looks like a Mansur Gavriel look for less from H &M. *shoutout to Olivia* Accessories were kept simple with my everday pearl earrings and watch giving for a minimal feel.
