At this point, its more than apparent, that I am obsessed with all things camo as well as the OG sneaker, the Adidas Superstar, “shell toes”, as I know them, that have taken over the fashion world with its class and minimalism. Nonetheless, it is also obvious, if you follow any of my social media accounts, my obsession with current colors for the upcoming spring/summer season. One of my favorites that includes the rustic, burnt, desert camel and orange tones. So why not take all my obsessions and combine them into one outfit, that can be worn day or night or day to night, with the change of shoes. This ensemble is perfect for the warmer months, and my by warmer I mean still cold, not that cold, but its okay.
The color combo of deep greens, blues, blacks and deeper toned orange create the perfect palette. Lately I have found myself doing more of combining than the old term once used in fashion, “matching”. Colors don’t need to match, they need to go, flow, combine, collab and the list can go. The statement piece of this look is definitely the “camo-fly”, camouflage parka from Zara, that had me drooling onsite. This is an over sized piece, but with the draw strings and buttons, I worked my magic to get just the right fit. With the wonderful colors to look out for this season, as mentioned in a previous post, try to combine the different colors and see what you can come up with. Focus on colors that compliment each other to create unique outfits.
