Back to Basics - Shades of Fall Neutrals

As of late, especially this fall, neutrals, nudes, beige’s, mauve-y, flesh tone and even olive neutrals have been all the rage, especially on social media. With variety of different tones of neutrals, they look great on any skin tone and makes mixing and matching with the same pieces a breeze. As you can see I used an almost white pleated skirt as my base and mixed both cool tone and warm neutrals to create this look, with almost all pieces from last year *pats self on the back*. (I created a similar look (will be at the end of the post) last year.)

One of my favorites from this outfit are the sandals that I have been eyeing for a while from Steve Madden (Provence – Chestnut Suede). They look great on any skin tone but they are THE perfect brown girl nude, for us chocolate girls who want a pair of nude shoes that actually match our skin tones. I grabbed these recently and they will be making another appearance. The small crossbody bag was also a fashion find from Forever 21, when I noticed last minute that I did not have a matching purse and a quick mall run solved that. I recommend checking out store like Forever 21 and H&M as they have stepped up their accessory game at great prices.
