Hi my lovies!! I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas and I hope everyone is blessed in the new year to come. I figured before the new year approaches that I come by and release the several posts I have in the “queue” and have yet to post. This post is as of last night and the rest waiting to be released are from a few weeks ago. I also forgot to take blog photos for my Christmas outfit but iPhone photos will have to do. In the meantime, I loved this simple outfit from last night that is very minimalistic and neutral.

The itchiest skirt in the world made its debut once again paired with a slit ribbed semi-maxi top that has been all the rave this season and the season past. I kept this look very basic and neutral from head to toe, letting the fury itchy skirt peak through the single slit. As you can tell by now, I am a fan of the camel and black color palette as much of the season has been.

I hope everyone enjoys this look and I will see you before the New Year begins !

HI LOVIES !!!!! It’s been an extremely busy few weeks but I haven’t forgot about the blog, but have been more so preparing myself. I have been feeling under the weather, therefore my efforts and inspiration have been lacking. I will be feeling better soon, so I’m sure that will all come back. In the mean time, here is an outfit post from this past weekend.

With that said, I decided to wear a simple semi monochromatic look with a hint of pattern mixing. I paired my leather olive green skirt from Zara with an olive green turtle neck, that has been featured before. Originally I intended on adding a pair of olive green heels, but I chose to mix it up with my H&M camel coat, Zara cheetah print pumps and Primark oversized Coat. The look is simple and clean but fun and full of character with the coat and bold scarf.

Accessories like coats and scarves in the Winter are perfect way to jazz up any look, especially if you are feeling bleh and don’t want to use the little of energy you have. You can look very put together without having to break a sweat.

I hope everyone is and has been enjoying the holidays, tis’ the season, right? Christmas and the New Year are around the corner and I hope everyone’s’ is filled with joy, love, peace, gratitude, health and all the many more blessings. <3

Over the Knee Boot Trend | Fall / Winter (AW) 2015 Trend

Hello Lovies ! I’m back with another Trendin’ Tuesday after a while. The last Trendin’ Tuesday post was on the lace up shoe trend, that we have seen taking up the stores’ shelves during the fall transition. This time I’m back with another must have trend, The Over the Knee Boot. Many kinds of boots are trending now, fringe boots, riding boots, tall boots, combat boots and the list can go on. For this post, we’ll focus on the main character of the boot show, the over knees.

This pair can be found in suede and leather and looks its best in almost every shade, especially the neutral shades. It also can be found in different heights from flat to sky high. With numerous options, they can be worn in anyway and with almost anything. You can go for a casual fall outfit with a flat heeled over the knee boot, or a heeled black suede over the knee boot for date night for girls night or with bae. The trend has been around for a couple of years but the hyped has grown until latest and you can find them everywhere.

The most desired pairs over the knee boots, the queen, in the kingdom of boots are by Stuart Weitzman. Stuart Weitzman intelligently created two versions of his over the knee boots, accomodating all the trend lovers with these two options. The high heeled version of the two is called the Highland and not so ironically the almost flat heeled version, is called the Lowland. The quality of both shoes are obviously one of the best with  a price of $798 and real suede and repeatedly a part of their fall/winter line.

Of course there are plenty of options on the store shelves that look similar that are a little nicer for your pockets. Check them out below and get your own pair on the links as well.

Fall Floral – Wedding Attire | Day & Night Look

Hello Everyone !! Hope all is well ! Sometimes when finding dresses for special occasions like weddings and birthday parties, us ladies tend to get caught up in the idea of only wearing our dresses once or not having anywhere else to where them. The reality is, all we need are a few pieces and accessories and we can make multiple outfits from one dress. You can switch up your pumps for a pair of flats or boots, your classic clutch for a more daring satchel, or a statement necklace to your plain neckline … the options are endless.

This past weekend, I attended a family friend’s wedding on a beautiful fall day. The wedding was during the afternoon and on a beautiful golf course. To match the fall weather and fall decor I opted for a fall floral look with a beautiful dress from Cynthia Rowley. I was extremely nervous that the dress would be too long on me since it was tea length hitting just short of my ankles. I loved the whole look. From the sunday afternoon wedding, I transitioned my outfit to a night time look for our Sunday night church service. To make the dress look casual I decided to add a leather jacket, my favorite clutch and lace up sandals to tone it down. The transition also followed up with my hair, instead of a pinned style I let my curls loose.

Enjoy the picture overload and try mixing pieces for multiple outfits from just a few pieces. I also posted the makeup look, there will be a Get Ready With Me on the Channel, soon.
