A satin slip dress is an effortless and movable quick look that go can from a casual “it girl” to Carrie Bradshaw with a simple change. Satin slip dresses are perfect for occasions or simple night outs during the warm spring and summer days or even on vacation. With this look I did both pairing an over sized denim jacket with a single soled strappy sandal.
I was obsessed with satin slip dresses for a while before I bought one. I purchased the perfect one last spring from Topshop and since then I’ve purchased atleast four more. Whether I have a place to wear them or not. In my opinion, Topshop has the most perfect cut of satin slip dresses. Some cuts can be unflattering, either too baggy or too straight of a cut. Topshops’ cut is perfectly loose up top and fits your curves down below without blowing you up or suffocating you.
