As the weather cools downs, our layers pile up and some of our summer pieces can easily be left behind. Throwing out the “No White After Labor Day” rule out the window, I decide to style this off the shoulder cutesy dress from Zara two different ways. If you are brave, you can still pull this look off without too much layering or covering up. I paired this with a pretty pale denim looking blue sandal from Steve Madden that looks identical to the Schutz, Juliana sandal and kept very simple for a birthday dinner (Instagram post).
I love this dress so much and definitely need to wear it again even though the season has changed, I thought about how. I instantly thought of one of the most current trends, over the sized denim jackets and Yeezy inspo, in this case the boots. The pairing of the jacket and the boots make this look much more casual and street style. To stick to the trendy look, the jacket looks great draped over the shoulder and will be handy when the temperature drops.
With a few changes and new accessories a whole new look can be created without having leaving your spring and summer pieces to collect dust during the season transition.
